Needed to know the characters a bit more so that I could enjoy them better
Carla and Diego are hot together. There's an immediate attraction between the two and his bear recognizes her as his mate. She's a human and totally unaware of shifters so Diego has an inner dialogue struggle. Will she accept him or not kinda thing...Overall this was a nice quick read.
Just love the fact that the author can be this creative.
It would be nice if there was such a thing as mates.
I believe anyone who enjoys paranormal romance would love this.
Diego and Carla are two lonely individuals who decide that they should sign up for a mail order bride service so that they no longer have to be alone. Little did they know that this unconventional decision would lead each to their fated mate and that they would be so beautiful together.
As with all of Zoe Chant's book, I really enjoyed reading this story, and I was glad to see Diego and Carla get their HEA.
Good story. Mail order Bride Modern West style. That is--if you consider the groom is a were bear. Of course, Carla didn't know that, not exactly something you include in your bio.
Diego knew she was his mate right away, but Carla was not as sure. Oh she was sure he was a hunk and she wanted him, but the morning after regrets hit. Now he has to worry about reconnecting with her, and telling her about his other side--as well as a danger they face.
He was a good story with a plot and HEA. The steam was good and I do recommend.
I got 35% of the way through. Then I discovered that the author has no understanding of how female and male anatomy line up while baby-making in a missionary position. It just can't do what is described.
Also this needs an editor. There are word's missing, like the kind where you were thinking them, but just forgot to type them. This happens but good proof reading helps catch this kind of stuff.
I'm writing this review in hopes that the author fixes these things and rereleases the story. It's got potential, but I can't honestly say it's well written.
In order to keep his ranch Diego Ramires needs a mate, so he turns to Ranch Romeo’s for help. Clara is unhappy being single and ignored, because of her curves. She has lived in the big city all her life and wants a change. She signs up to be a mail order bride. Off to Nevada she goes.
Will this be all she is hoping for? Will she accept Diego’s bear? I enjoyed reading this story and give it 5 stars.
